The Vogel Library Strategic Plan for January 2024 - December 2025 was developed between June 2023 and December 2023 in a collaborative process with all library staff. Throughout summer 2023, library staff participated in several workshops reading current literature on strategic plans for academic libraries and visioning activities for long term goals. They developed the Mission & Values and Focus Statements by the fall that would guide the themes of the remaining work. A community-wide survey was launched in November to gather feedback from Wartburg stakeholders. This information helped support the development of the strategic plan, affecting the future of library services and spaces. A final workshop was held in December to complete the strategic plan which was then presented at the January 16, 2024 College Conversation to all Wartburg personnel.
