Social change doesn’t have to be revolutionary—it can start with small steps to make your corner of the world a little better. The Civic Action Academy is a gathering where students explore how their unique skills can address community needs, inspiring them to turn “someone should do something” into “I can do this.”

Gather with leaders from across the Seed Coalition, a network of Iowa and Minnesota campuses who are committed to strengthening education for an engaged democracy. This community gathering will energize participants with thought-provoking conversations and low-pressure activities. Envision the world you want to live in. Your leadership and service can make it a reality.

The Civic Action Academy will be held on the Wartburg Campus.

• Friday, November 14 from 5 PM to  9 PM
• Saturday, November 15 from 9 AM to 4 PM.

If you are a human who lives in a community,

who wants the community to be the best version of itself,

and who recognizes that you just might have to help shape it into that best version,

you should attend this event.

No travel time or travel expense. No lodging fee because you already live here. No meal fees because you already have a meal plan.  No registration fee because it has been generously covered for you. I guess what I'm saying is, there's no reason not to go.
