Streaming Film Databases

Kanopy (plan ahead to request access)

1. Enter the Kanopy database (linked below).
2. Search for your title of interest.
3. Kanopy will sort the results out in this way: the first text and image will say whether or not we already subscribe, and the second, lower part of the page will link to the actual film. This can be confusing because if we don’t subscribe, the initial text says “We couldn’t find any results.”  This doesn’t necessarily mean that Kanopy does not have the film.  Scroll down further to see if there is a link to the film below that.
4. Click on the film title you would like, if it is there.
5. Click the link on the film’s record page to request the film, and fill out the form.
6. The librarian will notify you when the title becomes available.
