Laptops 101

A workshop presented by the ELITE Consultants at Vogel Library.

Storage Card

There are three types of storage cards:

  1. HDD (Hard Disk Drive): Older, Slower, but still useful as a secondary storage for extra capacity.
  2. SATA SSD: Faster and more reliable than HDDs, suitable for lighter tasks, but not the fastest option.
  3. NVMe SSD: The fastest and most  reliable storage with long lifespan and high processing speed.

Best setup: Use an NVMe SSD as the main drive, paired with an HDD for additional storage.
