Preface
The purpose of the Archives of Iowa Broadcasting is to establish and maintain a permanent collection of materials relating to the history, development and contribution of radio and television in Iowa.
The Archives is committed to providing access to holdings. However, access to some items may be restricted by their fragile condition or by contractual agreement with the donors. Due to the complexity and variety of audiovisual formats, most items will need to be digitally duplicated or transferred before access can be provided.
Introduction
Abstract: The Anderson Collection contains video materials relating to advertising, education, and entertainment. Miscellaneous items are also included. Dates range from 1905-2005.

Biographical Sketch/Agency History
History: Wayne Anderson has been a cinematographer, videographer, producer, and director for over 50 years. He began his career as a cinematographer for WMT-TV from 1976-1985. During this time he shot and produced almost 2,000 television commercials for local and regional advertising. In addition to this, he produced special features for soft programming, events, and MDA telethons. He was one of the first to produce broadcast quality commercials on videotape. After 1985, Wayne worked at local stations and Iowa advertising agencies. He helped to create Images Productions in 1989, and was one of the first to edit digital video.
