The Wartburg College Archives is responsible for the collection and preservation of records that document the college’s history, development, operation, policies, people, activities, and events.

Location History

History: Hebron’s campus opened in 1911 with fifty-six students and two teachers. By the mid to late 1920s it was accredited as a junior college and took the name Hebron College and Academy. The College started having difficulties with enrollment in the late 1930s, and was unable to survive the start of World War II. It closed in 1942.
