Toxicity Abbreviations

 = Lethal Concentration (usually measured in the air but sometimes in water)

 = For inhalation experiments, the concentration of the chemical in air that kills 50% of the test animals in a given time (usually four hours)

 = Lethal Dose given to a test population

 = Lethal Dose that killed 50% of test animals

Try searching Google using the name of your chemical followed by MSDS OR SDS sheets. ScienceLab.com has a substantial collection of comprehensive sheets.
