What is a college library and how does it differ from other types of libraries?
One of the main differences between a public library, a school library, and a college library is the collections or resources offered. While public libraries serve their communities by providing casual reading materials and local interest reference materials, school libraries and college libraries offer collections that support the academic goals of their institutions. At Vogel Library that means we purchase and subscribe to resources that help students, faculty, and staff research their areas of study.
